Edward Smith grew up in a quaint town in north-east Texas, always yearning to explore the vast world beyond. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force (USAF) on the promise of being stationed in Germany. Over his 4-year tenure with USAF, Edward not only traveled extensively across Western Europe but also earned a Bachelor's degree in business administration. Following his service, Edward embarked on a backpacking adventure across 50 countries on six continents, culminating his journey in Australia where he achieved a Master's degree. Edward then jetted off to China where he spent 6 years armed with an innovative idea of starting an online platform connecting Chinese students with American language teachers. It was there that he met his wife. Edward's global journey has uniquely positioned him for a successful real estate career in New York City with Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the largest brokerage in the New York Metropolitan area. Edward's travels have imbued him with an intuitive understanding of diverse cultures, lifestyles, and aspirations.
